1200 hrs. The fiesta flag is handed over to the Caixer Sobreposat at the Town Hall and the first notes are played on the flute, following which the Ferreries Municipal Band plays the ‘Ferreries Hymn’ and candles are distributed.
1600 hrs. The start of the celebrations are heralded by bells and rockets and the giants, carnival figures and band tour the town.
1700 hrs. The cavalcade sets out and, after touring the town, performs the traditional ‘jaleo’ in the Pla de l’Església. After another tour of the town, Compline is held in honour of Sant Bartomeu.
