World Cup coming to Menorca October 2010

In the paper today

World cup is been brought to Menorca to be shown to the general public confirmed dates 5th and 6th October 2010 (Chris will double check and get more info this week)

I think two members are going to be very happy bunnies indeed

Just a quick up date,it´s been confirmed that the world cup is coming to Menorca on the 5th Oct in the morning at some point,time yet to be arranged and where in Menorca.Also the football federation are in talks to sort out which players from the world cup team will beable to attend.

Watch this space,i will keep you updated.

yes there is news so far is that it will be 3.30pm in Mahón (rudeboy just informed me )

Don´t take that as red though they change things all the time here but will keep posting what they say!

I HAVE TOUCHED THE WORLD CUP it is true!!! Well it was saying players may come then on the day (yesterday) a piece in the paper times etc but no mention of players.

So me and chris (rudeboy) toddled off down and thought oh its going to be in some covered glass case to view as it was leaving the island at 10.30pm to go to another island to be viewed!

Anyway cut it short THERE WAS PEOPLE HAVING THEIR PHOTO TOOK AND TOUCHING IT let me tell you I have never been so excited in my life



This was a very very special day one that I never thought I would see in my life and will be treasured forever! I was born in 1966 when England won the world cup and now I can tell my grand children and great gendchildren that granny touched the world cup in the month of her birthday lol
