Cala Figuera
The ayuntamiento in Es Castell is to ask the port authorities in the Balearic Islands to specify the use to which they intend to put Cala Figuera under the "Use of Space in the Port of Mahón". The PSM Verds (Menorcan Socialist Party and the Greens) want to know what type of activities might take place after the compulsory purchase of properties on the section of harbour coastline that comes under the auspices of the municipality of Es Castell. The whole ayuntamiento supports the question. The PSM verds also backed the proposal to rescind the concessions for a bar and ice cream stall in the controversial Plaza Explanada in Es Castell.
