Hi I'm new and looking for some advice/info.
We're due to go to Menorca next week and stay in the Mar de Menorca at Es Canutells. However we've discovered this morning that apparently the beach is closed for re-development.
Would anyone know if this is true as i'm pretty concerned that we booked a beach hotel but won't have a beach to use!

No problem that is what the forum is all about to help people or give information to members visiting Menorca. Hold fire as will have a drive over at the weekend if do not find out anything beforehand

Hi there stressed Just a quickie to let you know we payed a visit to where you are going for your holidays AND THE BEACH IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER ;D ;D ;D ;D I took the camcorder and my hubby took some pics for you which I will put on the forum at some point before you go so you can see what it is like. Thankyou so much for doing that, we really appreciate your help. Looking forward to seeing the photos now! You must have a great time living over there, Menorca is such a lovely island. This will be my 4th time over there and all 4 times in different resorts. I looked at the weather forecast too and it sounds lovely and warm at the moment, hope it continues!  |

Those pics are great, thankyou! Not so stressed anymore.  All we wanted really was for it to be open, safe and useable especially for our 4 year old. It looks perfect. Can't wait to see your video! |

Glad they are ok for you- Will be doing the video tomorrow as going out tonight for a meal and to watch some bands lol. The video shows the apartments and what is round and about . I can tell you looks a lovely little place and I did not know it even exsisted!!!!
