"Mayan Queen" berths in Maó
Visitors to the port of Maó last Thursday may have been somewhat bemused and overawed at the sight of one of the largest yachts in the world berthed in the harbour. The "Mayan Queen", 92 metres in length, belongs to a Mexican multimillionaire, Alberto Baillères, who has the second largest fortune in his country and owns, amongst other things, a metalurgical and mining group which is the worlds top producer of refined gold and silver.
