Ses Voltes
Went to this restaurante for our anniversary and we are certainly glad we did. Located in the centre of Ciutadella amongst all the shops down the long street Ses Voltes(near the arches).
We did not have any starters as we both like a good meal and a dessert.
Chris had the Pollo con gambas 10,85€ (prawns wrapped around a nicely cooked chicken in almond sauce served with asparagus)
Coulant 4,80€ (similar to a bomba de chocolate, warm chocolate sauce inside the chocolate cake and a beautiful dollop of cream yum yum which had a very unusual taste which was very nice)
I had Entrecot 16,96€ (big piece of thick steak which was very tender with a pepper sauce, asparagus and little potatoes with rock salt, these little things were to die for)
I also had the coulant and we both had some bread (2 rolls priced at 1,20€ each), and 2 diet cokes (2,45 each)
Total 45,00€
The Establishment
Nice entrance with seating area outside. As you enter inside the downstairs area is for Pizzas, pastas, tapas and snacks. Smoking is allowed and a nice sized telly and bar area. First floor nice and spacious and is non smoking. Top floor again non smoking but a nice terrace area to eat and smoke. Grey slate flooring, with white table and chairs with grey serving mats to complement the decor inside.
Toilets spotless in mens and ladies. Again slate grey flooring, with a lovely slate sink. Toilets situated on the ground floor and top floor. There is also a lift which is quite handy for people in a wheelchair.
The staff - speaking both Spanish & English. Very clean and presentable, polite and not pushy and did not rush you with your meal. Explained things very well if you did not understand what to order.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Menorca. We will be definitely visiting again.
