Nearly 3 million euros to be spent on Es Grau over 6 years
The preliminary plan for the area is nearing the end of its required period on public display during which time objections to its proposals can be lodged
The Balearic Department of the Environment has drawn up a plan (the Plan Rector) governing the uses and management of the Albufera de Es Grau and the natural resources of the Illa dels Porros, S’Estany, Bassa de Morella, Es Prat and the Illa d’en Colom. The document will set out guidelines for the conservation and study of the Albufera, for which 2.7 million euros have been set aside.
