ViveMenorca through to semifinals
The Menorcan basketball team lost the third leg off against Leche Río Breogán 73-65 but rallied in the fourth match, reversing the previous score and winning 73-65. This gave them a 3-1 advantage over their rivals and put them through to the semifinals where they will meet Ciudad la Laguna. The teams will again play the best of five games, on 14th, 16th, 19th, 21st and 23rd of May 2010. The other semifinal is between Ciudad Melilla and Ford Burgos.
ViveMenorcas success in the quarter finals takes them a step nearer to taking the title and returning to the ACB, Spains top basketball league.
