Maó will have a new courthouse building by mid 2010, with the start of construction anticipated this November, according to the Under Secretary for the Ministry of Justice, Susana Peri Gómez.
The building, which will contain a total of seven courtrooms, will be constructed on a 3,256 sq.m. plot next to the existing courthouse, the land being provided by Maó Council.
