Red Cross Spring Sale
This event is now in its 4th year, and has already built a reputation for offering high quality goods, at very low prices - with all money raised going to support local Red Cross projects.
Each year the Spring Sale gets bigger and better - and the target this year is to beat the previous total of 10.000 Euros.
All your favourite stalls will be there - books, plants (including tomato, herb and flowering plants), cakes, jams, pickles & preserves, new toys, grand raffle, bottle tombola, pictures and painting, home linens, bric-a-brac, new and designer clothing, craft stall and change for the better where you can donate all your loose coins and foreign money collected on your travels and now stuck in a drawer. New this year will be a haberdashery stall where there will be a wide choice of buttons, ribbons, lace and trimmings and tapestry kits. If you would like to donate any earrings, broken necklaces etc in precious metals only (gold, silver, platinum etc not costume jewellery would be appreciated).
Janice Bockling will be joining the event with a selection of her card and gift range, with all proceeds going to her Cats in Need Charity. There will also be a collecting box for donations of cat food and biscuits.
Anyone who missed, or was unable to make it to the Pou Nou Clearance Sale in March, will be able to find a Pou Nou stall at the Spring Sale, selling clothes at greatly reduced prices.
The venue will be at the Aero Club on the San Luis road. There is pleanty of free car parking and should the weather not be kind everything can be under cover if required.
The sale will start at 10.30 am and run until 1.30pm - 15th May
Anyone with any items to donate should please call Anne Maddison on 971151909
