Valeriano Allés the islands women's volleyball team came up against tournament favorites, CAV Murcia 2005, in the Copa SM La Reina in Lugo on Thursday. Unfortunately they lost all three sets in a match that lasted just seventy minutes. Top point scorer for the Ciutadella based team was 24 year old English women Janine Sandell.
