Ferry diverted
The port of Ciutadella has been disrupted in the past week by "rissaga" warnings and subsequent oscillations in sea level. Unfortunately the warning was not received by the crew of the ferry Nura Nova until it was just 15 minutes from its arrival at Ciutadella Menorca. The ship was diverted to Maó, along with its twenty passengers and a considerable amount of cargo. It arrived in Maó at 2200 five hours after leaving Alcúdia.
