Mahón continues to invest in sustainable mobility
The Police Department and Town Hall Mobility Mahón are preparing a unique site which will be linked overall City Hall. It will include a local interactive map of all the bicycle parking, disabled parking and loading and unloading points for carriers.
Local councilor Mateu Llabrés thanks everyone for the popular awareness and local action and works in parallel with the State Plan Local Investment is being made of bicycle lanes on two of the main entrances of the village as Jose Anselmo Clavé and Josep Maria Quadrado "Way Round which will unite with the center of the city." Llabrés ensures that the the council is to continue placing rails to reach the periphery unify with each other and the outside of the city with the interior.
Plans are also passed to introduce Way Round lanes from peripheral villages to neighbors, an action that works in conjunction with the Council and from the same route round the area colleges. Llabrés adds actions on the connection between Anselmo and Clavé Josep Maria Quadrado and Clavé with Camí Guix-den where the new school will be built-up from Quadrado Dalt Sant Joan.
Purchases of hundred double rings, fifty of whom were placed in arteries of the city as Minorca Avenue, Fort de l'Eau and Vives Llull. The City Council plans to acquire other fifty rings to locate in the historic city.
Llabrés stressed that these actions are completed with the proposed school routes. he pilot has starred Minorca Avenue with the location of steps with high extension sides. School routes will be indicated with steps for pedestrians painted red and white and in turn reinforced by signs. The proceedings are taking place in areas close to La Salle and Verge del Carme and the next area to invest effort is the periphery of the Colegio Juan Antoni.
