A life on the ocean wave, a drink on the rolling deep
A 10-metre long mural, painted by Mendoza and with plaster castings by Toni Pito, provides a colourful backdrop for a recently-opened bar restaurant in Cala en Porter.
The scene depicts two galleons on the high seas, as seen from the deck of another sailing ship, complete with rigging, the choice
of theme being dictated by the bar restaurant’s name “The Galleon”.
The latest addition to Cala en Porter’s catering attractions was opened some ten days ago by newly-weds Mike and Tracy McDonnell who arrived on the island almost two years ago.
