Leonids meteorite shower at its height
Associated with the Tempel-Tuttle comet, the Leonids are a prolific meteor shower which take their name from the constellation of Leo where they can be seen.
This year the Leonids will be visible from 10th to 21st November with the height of activity being tonight when it is predicted that there will be over 400 meteors per hour.
