Valeriano Allés lose to arch rivals CAV Murcia
The Ciutadella ladies’ volleyball team Valeriano Allés started their season in Spain’s top league (the Superliga) well, beating Traysesa Santa Cruz in an away match by 0-3 which placed them at the top of the league table.
On Saturday, however, the tables were turned when Valeriano Allés met their arch rivals, CAV Murcia 2005, on home turf and were beaten 1-3, dropping the local team to fifth place and raising their opponents to first position.
Next Saturday they will face Universidad de Burgos at home.
