Is it possible to reach this nature reserve by bus?
We're off to Punta Prima on Friday and would dearly like to see some migratory birds.
Thanks

There is a bus from Punta Prima to Mahon on the half hour and from Mahon back to Punta Prima on the hour. I have looked in the Roqueta magazine to see if there is a bus from Mahon to Es Grau (the reserve is just before Es Grau) but cannot see any buses. I am sure when Pigeonpie comes on, she will be able to clarify for you.
Hope you enjoy the island.
I am over on Saturday too and cannot wait!

Hi there slubberd Right done a bit of digging and looks as though there is no direct bus to the reserve. It is saying that there is a bus from Mahón to Es Grau in summer but not having any luck in finding them on the main timetables. I have the telephone number for the reserve if that is of any help which is 971359867 I will keep having a look for you and hopefully find some more information (I cannot believe they do not have a website!!! : . pigeonpie
