Monarch is cutting the number of scheduled flights linking the island with the UK. From the start of November through until the end of March there will be only one flight with Monarch per week linking Menorca to the UK. This flight will be on a Friday and will only go to Luton. There will be no Monarch service linking the island to Manchester. When contacted, Monarch stated that the decision has been made as a response to demand. They added that if current customers would like to make their views known about the changes, they should logon to: wwwflymonarch.com and use the “contact us” facility.. |

 I am really mad about this as our son wants to come over in Winter. it is bad enough that the cost has gone up with the supplements etc but to do this is disgusting Has anyone else told them how they feel  pigeonpie

hi , any of the following , bristol cardiff , exeter , gatwick any in south of england , struggling to find any flights in march apart from a few from luton which is a bit of a pig to get to from where i am . rich

Hi rich
Right we have been having getting flights for my son to come over next week. The easiest way is to go to Barcelona and then get flight over to Menorca. My husband has recently done it and only take about 40 mins so isnt bad but if gives you a bit of flexibility. Just a thought. I am still looking but only one found so far starts april. Let us know what you think and will have a diddle about but am still searching for direct ones here.
Just to let you know everyone is complaining about this especially property owners here. Our friends have just come back and they said they wish they had booked to Barcelona as they had to book an hotel overnight to ensure they got the early flight with Monach and the hotel cost more than the flights!!!
