Sunday, 23rd
1200 hrs. The flag of Sant Bartomeu is handed over and the first notes played on the ‘fabiol’ (flute).
1600 hrs. Bells and rockets announce the start of the fiestas and the carnival figures and Band tour the streets of the town.
1630 hrs. The cavalcade sets out around the town and the ‘jaleo’ takes place. Afterwards there is another tour of the town before Compline is held in honour of Sant Bartomeu.
2400 hrs. Performance by the group Maregassa in the yard of Sant Francesc School.
Monday, 24th
0830 hrs. Reveille with the Ferreries Band and the carnival figures.
0900 hrs. The cavalcade sets out for the Pla de l’Església where a ‘jaleo’ is held, followed by the presentation of green canes and silver spoons.
2000 hrs. Children’s entertainment from the Hotel Sol Gavilanes’ activities group. in the Plaça d’Espanya.
2130 hrs. Performance by the group Bastió de s’Illa in the Plaça d’Espanya.
2300 hrs. Open-air dance with music from Joan Reynés, Bep and Toni Camps in Carrer Nou.
2400 hrs. Open-air dance with the Orquesta Sarau and Menú 96 in the old basketball court.
