Three days of entertainment with activities for everyone
Marquees are being erected in the car park of the Menorca Basketball Pavilion in Bintaufa in readiness for the events and activities in the I Menorca Beer Gastronomic and Cultural Fair which opens this Friday 10th July and continues until Sunday 12th July, starting at 1800 hrs. on each day. A multitude of events has been planned for the three days with something to suit everyone’s taste and to create a lively atmosphere.
Two Menorcan groups will play live pop or rock music each day with a DJ filling in during the times when the groups are not on stage. There will be exhibitions of Menorcan dressage and the horses will provide a taste of the local fiestas in a specially-created sandy arena. Children will have their own playground, which will include two bouncy castles and have monitors to supervise the planned activities, and will also be able to enjoy a foam fiesta.
Adults will be able to browse the stalls in the craft fair, admiring local handmade items.
There will be a “tasting area” where the beers of the world will be available for sampling, together with local cuisine, although the organisers are quick to point out that this is not an invitation to visitors to overindulge and stress that any drunkards will quickly be dealt with by the security personnel on duty throughout the fair.

That event sounds really good and interesting. Is it an annual event at all?
Do they do anything like it in Mercadel?
