Rotary to assist Father Bonet in tropical medicine project
The Rotary Club of Menorca is to help the Menorcan missionary, Father Manolo Bonet, to set up a new project in Binde, Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast). The project will be shared with a Rotary Club in North Ghana and will work through University Development Studies in Tamale in the northern region of Ghana.
Two universities in Barcelona (the Autonoma and Clinica de la Paz) offer masters degrees in tropical medicine, with 300 hours of lectures. They need a place in the world where those who qualify for a masters in tropical medicine can do practical work.
