Red Cross preparing for the Spring Sale
The newly refurbished Aero Club will be the venue for the third Red Cross Spring Sale, to be held on Saturday 16th May. Organiser Anne Maddison is asking for donations of unwanted gifts, new clothes, bric-a-brac and books but can only accept items in pristine condition. She would also like to hear from anyone wishing to donate a raffle prize and can be contacted on 971 151 909. Further information on the event will be included in the English Pages, nearer the date.
The Red Cross Craft Group has got off to a great start with lots of new members creating unique gifts to be sold at the Spring Sale.People are welcome to drop in and join the group for a coffee on a Monday at the Picadero, from 1000 hrs., but please note there is no meeting on Easter Monday.
