Stocks fairs to be held in Alaior and Maó
The businessmen’s association in Alaior has organised the town’s first stocks fair, which will be held on 28th February and 1st March. Some 14 companies will be participating in the fair, offering items left over from the season for sale.
A ‘tapas tasting’ has been arranged by bars and restaurants in the town, Can Jaumot, Es Pouet, Escacs and Géminis, and the butcher Can Biel. These small tasters will be available at a very modest price between 1230 and 1430 hrs. and 1900-2100 hrs. on Saturday and from 1230 to 1430 hrs. on the Sunday.
The fair will be open on Saturday from 0930 to 1430 hrs. and 1630 to 2100 hrs. and on Sunday from 0930 to 1500 hrs.
The following week, 6th to 8th March, the Exhibition Centre on the Maó industrial estate will host another Stocks Fair.
