[Sant Lluís have other medical and pediatric care

The health unit of Sant Lluís run starting this week with a third half-time doctor, which will strengthen the staffing of medical professionals and improving the general health of the population. Also, it is envisaged the expansion of pediatric care and the incorporation of a nurse in this specialty, as reported by the councilman of Health and Social Services, John Cubas.
The Municipality of Sant Lluís and IB-Salut have signed a collaboration agreement for the expansion of the staffing of the health unit, with the aim of cutting 400 to 500 the number of cards that have both medical professionals, which currently amounts to 1950 each. The third specialist in general medicine-time work for four mornings and one afternoon. In addition, the collaboration agreement provides for the increase in hours of service and staffing of the pediatric nurse in this specialty. The professional staff of the health unit has been formed so far by two doctors, two nurses, a pediatrician and a half-time nurse in this specialty.
