Doctors at ‘Mateu Orfila’ vote in favour of indefinite strike
Specialists at the hospital believe that this is the only effective way to bring pressure to bear on the health authorities following the breakdown of talks
At a meeting held yesterday, specialists at the Mateu Orfila Hospital voted by a large majority in favour of an indefinite strike following the breakdown in negotiations between the doctors’ union and IB-Salut. The doctors voted for an indefinite strike on consecutive days, rejecting the union’s less harsh proposal of stoppages on two days per week.
