Offices set up in island council’s headquarters in Maó Call centre to open in Menorca for 112 emergency phone calls So far this year 26,158 calls to the 112 emergency service have been made from the island, Saturday being the day when most calls have been receivedFollowing decentralisation of the 112 service, Menorca’s Emergency Control Centre will begin to operate at full capacity on 1st January. The new offices in the Consell Insular’s headquarters in Maó were officially inaugurated last week in the presence of island authorities and representatives from the various security forces.
