Es Migjorn Gran proposed budget of 2.9 million euros and 700,000 investment

The team is Migjorn government, headed by Mayor Andres Moll, has quantified the municipal budget for next year at 2,935,070 euros. Moreover, the chapter on investments for 2009 amount to 706,907 euros, representing 24 percent of the accounts. The draft budget will be discussed at the Finance Committee next January, and subsequently approved by the plenary to be held this month.
Mayor Andres Moll noted that the chapter of personal accounts, with just over one million, the largest amount of spending for next year, followed by services and running costs for an amount of 715,000 euros. Third, is the investment chapter of 706,000 euros, which works in the Island Plan of Cooperation (PIC), amounting to 314,900 euros.
Investment
Major investments for the next three years consist of actions to improve the infrastructure: the renovation of a section of the Avinguda del Mar, with the settlement of the sidewalk and the installation of lighting supplies and services, as well as Sanitation in another section of the same street, all with a budget of 187,600 euros, the installation of low voltage electrical network, amounting to 127,000 euros, at the site opposite the urban industrial buildings, where IBAVI plans conducting a promotion of 30 social housing, which will be implemented in phases and the expansion of the ground floor of the club of retirees from the covering of the courtyard of the building, for 57,000 euros, with a contribution of 30,000 euros Council, while the rest will be financed in equal parts by the City and Sa Nostra.
In addition, Moll has stressed the implementation of a cycling route, promoted by the former government team, whose trip will be changed due to the reluctance of the owners concerned on the way from Santa Clara to St. Thomas.
Andrew Moll noted the limited investment capacity of the municipality and logic need to stick to economic opportunities for the investment program, as the building of infrastructure, such as football, school and child health center, which has qualified necessary to meet the demands of citizens, involves a great economic effort to meet year after year after successfully keeping them.
