Equestrian centre proposed for Bintaufa sports complex

A group of Menorcan investors is to present a project to Maó Council within the next few days for the construction of a riding school for Menorcan horses. The association for the breed proposes that the centre be sited in Bintaufa, Maó, and is prepared to invest some 7 million euros in the project.

The project presented last week by the Menorcan Dressage School for their complex in Bintaufa envisages buildings covering 11,200 sq.m. which will house

1,600 sq.m. indoor arena for shows and stands seating 1,200 people

Another arena with a central patio

Veterinary surgery

2 delivery rooms

40 loose boxes

Residential section for riders with classrooms

Museum dedicated to the “jaleo” and auxiliary offices.

All of which is estimated at around 8 million euros.
