Concerts by local musicians to be held in the Casino Nou

The Casino Nou and Si Véns Cafè are putting on an attractive programme of concerts this winter featuring established local groups as well as newcomers to the musical scene. The concerts will be held on Fridays in the Casino Nou in Ciutadella, with the doors opening at 2300 hrs. and performances starting at 2330 hrs.
Following the concerts the musical entertainment will continue with a DJ session. Entrance is free and bar facilities are available.
This Friday will see the Puretones in concert, followed next week by the Blueshakers, then The Sailors and on 31st the Raynald Colom Quartet. November starts with a concert by Moix, then Spectrum, Los Perseguidores and Fràgil on the following Fridays. December’s performers will be José Luis Linares, Dèria, Delên and the Hoochie Coochie Band and Streetnoise will bring the cycle of concerts to a close on 2nd January.
On Saturdays, also at 2330 hrs., the venue will host Jazz Nights until the first week in January, with the groups Que Pasa Trio and Jazz Do It playing alternate weeks, as well as guest artistes. Entrance to these events will be 10 euros (8 euros to members of the Casino Nou, Jazz Obert and students at the Music and Dance School).
