Statistics published by the INE (National Institute of Statistics) last week show that the island’s hotels were full to 88.04% of their capacity in August, with an average length of stay of 6.68 days.
This compares favourably with Ibiza (87.34% and 5.91 days) but is slightly lower than in Mallorca where the figures were 89.1% and 6.88 days.
The overall figure for the Balearic Islands, 88.7%, is just 0.7% lower than for the same month last year.
