ViveMenorca’s eight pre-season friendly games resulted in seven losses and one win for the local team, issuing a stern warning to the team and their supporters about the trials and tribulations to come once the season proper is under way.
The team lost: 100-82 to CB Vic; 86-66 to FC Barcelona; 83-80 to Plus Pujol Lleida; 77-63 to FC Barcelona; 91-79 to Donest; 79-71 to Ricoh Manresa; and 63-52 to Iurbentia, all of which were away fixtures.
However, it was a different story at the team’s home match on Sunday which saw them beat Ricoh Manresa 84-59, their first victory.
