Fiestas of Cala'n Porter
Sunday 21st September
9.00am A burst of bangers, then the Bugle and Drum Band wakes everyone up and they tour the streets
9.30am Typical Menorcan breakfast of chocolate and coca at the municipal building. Everyone invited
9.50am The equestrian parade sets out again around the streets
11.00am Mass for the Caixers at the municipal building
12.15pm The traditional Jaleo, to the music of a local group takes place in the Church Square, followed by the presentation of green canes and silver spoons to the participating riders
14.30pm Reception at the municipal building for Authorities, residents and visitors
10.30pm Music and dancing in the Plaza Mevis, to music by a local group
12 midnight Grand firework display in the Plaza de la Iglesia
