Information for you all if you do not know where the lidl is here in Menorca.

Easiest way is head towards Cituadella and turn right at the roundabout before that lovely statue (the horse). Follow on straight forward across a very little roundabout and it is on your right hand side.

www.lidl.es enter the "postcode" forCiutadella which is 07760 and it takes you to the Lidl site for Menorca.

I popped in Lidl yesterday first time since it opened last year and what a bargain!!!!!!!!!!

spen 47 Euros and got allsorts

5kg potatoes 2 Euros 49 cent
6 natural yogurts 89 cents
Mince meat 800g for 2 Euros 79 cents
3 chicken breasts 3 Euros 69 cents

these few items saved me nearly 10 Euros where I normally shop

So anyone coming over on their holidays self catering Lidl is defo somewhere to go for your shopping ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D Went to Lidl yesterday and its now opening on Sunday between 9000hrs - 14000hrs ;D ;D

Can recommend Lidls too - bought some excellent Chianti from there - think it was 4.99euros - but defo tasted expensive.

Their fresh Lasagne are to die for - 3.95 each and more than enough for 2 people.

Easy to find, easy to park and easy to find your way round the shop itself.

Water was cheap - cheapest we found was here - 52 cents for the big big bottles - elsewhere we found them to about 30cents more for the same size bottle
