World Fair Trade Day
Comerç Just will be organising a day of events in the Plaça de la Catedral, Ciutadella, on Saturday 9th May from 1100 to 1700 hrs. to mark the World Fair Trade Day and protest against poverty, the financial crisis and climate change.
There will be performances by the Alba Dance Studio and Smiling Iguanaz plus percussion from Ablaye Seck, together with interactive workshops on local cuisine, education for children and where the clothes we wear come from, talks, a parade of creative clothes from India and a photographic exhibition.
