OPERA: SIMÓN ORFILA AT THE TEATRO PRINCIPAL

A performance by one of Minorca’s most famous baritones will be taking place on the upcoming Friday, February 27th as of 21:00 hours, this being none other than Simón Orfila who, following in the steps of his colleague Juan Pons, has dedicated part of his life to classical music, in particular to opera, on this occasion offering his very best repertoire to an expectant, music loving audience that is looking forward to meeting up again with this artist of international stature. This time he will be sharing the stage with the soprano Maria Camps, an artist who is particularly well-known in the Balearic Islands, although it can already be seen that a promising career awaits her as a singer in the world of classical music. The performance is organized by Matxani Produccions
in collaboration with the Teatro Principal of Mao.
